Well a couple of days late, but.... Happy New Years!
Welcomed new year at a friends place from a balcony that faces right at the space needle. Great friends, lots of fun and great way to start off the year. =)
So far, great start. Of the recent successes, I would really like to recommend this chicken marsala recipe. Made with Zinfandel wine this time, which was a little too sweet, but still amazing. Also great recommendations for Boat St Cafe. Amazing mimosas combined with mushroom scramble and divine honey/butter biscuits. Wonderful brunch location.
Also, waiting with great anticipation for summer, when I can go on a hike and actually get a view from the top. Though hiking Rattlesnake Ledge was delightful, it is nice to see something other than a pillow of cloud at the top. At least you could see the Olympics from the city yesterday evening and some today. =)
